About

About me

I am an environmental researcher working in tech, intersecting both data science and product.

Most recently, I worked at SafeGraph building geospatial datasets about points-of-interest to support data science teams across global enterprises, startups, and academia.

Prior to this, I was a Senior Data Scientist at Known, focused on developing custom pipelines for data ingestion, model training, and batch transformation in advertising and marketing. This role built off of a successful stint as an Insight Data Science Fellow, where I built an app to help identify shoppers who would be most open to buying organic produce.

Formerly, I was the Director of Science and Product at Cloud to Street, where I led a team that built and deployed a disaster monitoring platform enabling access to impact analytics for the world’s most climate-vulnerable communities.

I received my PhD and MS in Civil & Environmental Engineering from Stanford University, where my research on satellite remote sensing of water quality and water access monitoring in resource-constrained settings was described in numerous academic publications and featured in the New York Times, Gizmodo, Forbes, and elsewhere. I am a former NSERC Doctoral scholar and Woods Institute Rising Environmental Leaders Fellow.
